How is the easiest way to frag zoos without harming the colony?

get a flat tool, like a Chisel and well chisel it off. then rubber band or mesh it on the new rock.

or super glue it to the new rock, using the gel type of glue

I usually place some small pieces of live rock touching the LR that the colony is on and let the colony attach on their own.

I'm interested in fragging some colonies too. I had a zoo rock close to another rock, and within about two weeks one attached itself to both the original rock and the new rock. When I felt it had enough of a 'bite' on the new rock, I simply pulled the two rocks apart. The polyp on the new rock opened up and seems to be doing just fine.

I find it to be a great way to propagate zoos. I usually use a pair of sissors to seperate the two because pulling them apart I feel could do some damage.
