Frag of one of my Acro's( tricolor)- a medium size colony at the bottom of the tank and a small frag in the middle of the tank. The colony on the sand has colored up very nicely as compared to the frag in the middle. I have 3 250W Radiums, 29" deep tank , 10- 12 hour photo period.

If you used 10k's with actinics you would have quite a few more corals coloring up on the bottom of your tank.

250w Radiums are a little weak for a 29" high tank.

Planning to get 14 K and actinics when its time to change the bulbs. I am relatively new to acro's and was under the impression they have to be at the top of the tank where the light and flow is maximum.

I am breaking down my tank and removed live rock and placed corals on the substrate. They never looked better...more color
