I'm comming up on a year with the XMs and would like to do another group buy if we can.

who do you get these from?

think they'd deepen the discount if we buy retrofit kits along with the order? i'm going to be needing 3 and i think legoz will be needing a couple.

i nominate badbu68 to be in charge of researching the supplier, collecting pre-orders, collection of funds, ordering quantity required, and distribution of bulbs. all in favor say "AY!"

i'm getting ready to buy a 250 watt ballast for my downstairs tank,then i'll need a bulb,i just bought 3 bulbs for the main tank 4 months ago.let me know what you have henry

The 175w is for my home tank, but...
I'd be happy to obtain bulbs, salt, pumps, whatever, for people in the club.

I talked to a few places, and the best one I found is close to the previous group buy only if we order at least 2 dozen lights. Really can't do any group buy on retrofits or anything else that only a few people want. If their is further interest in this, please reply so we can start this.

OK I am raising this back from the dead, I think some who was voluntered to head this, BTW the one who initiated this, probably wanted it to go away, well I still need some MHs

Here is a roll up from the list:
Tcottle- in? not sure how many
Rv8tor- 4 - 2x 175w 10K, 1x 175w 14 K, 1x 175w 20k
Benney Z - 3
Legoz - 2
Epon 2x 175w 20K, 1x 250w 10K

there are at least 17 bulbs.

Badboy needs 3 more for the group by right? if any one is out respond to the thread and if anyone want to get in, respond too.

I still need 2 as well. I really want this to go through!

The price I was quoted was roughly $50 a bulb. I don't know if this included shipping (doubt it).

I only checked a few places, don't know where last years group buy was purchased from so if anybody knows a better price, speak up please!

If every one is still in we have over 20 bulbs. Tshopp started the one last year he may be able to tell you where they purchased the group buy. I would also assume that there is a price difference between 175w and 250w and 400w correct?
