I just picked up vol 3 of the Reef Aquarium by Sprung and Delbeek. It's a masterpiece. Anyone having trouble with their reef or wanting to know about the science of it, should get this book.

It's so detailed. It was worth the wait between it and vol 2. It came along at the right time I think.

Just wanted to let everyone know about it.

Depending on where you get it $80 to $100. It's well worth it.

After reading several books I also fully recommend it, it is the one more up to date with aquarium systems and science.
Good for beginners as well as advanced.

yeah this is my new favorite. so much technical info, huge sections on lights, filtration it doesnt go over corals and ocean life in gereral like the others it really concentrates on comparing all the different ways to build and maintain a reef. Very good book!!!!!!

You just struck my Achilles heal. I can't read enough on this stuff. Is volume 3 just a more up-to-date version of the book, or do the other two volumes cover other material?
