my tank is 1 month old.....what kind of coral is for beginner? i have 96x2 orbit lighting system for my 30g long tank.

Any type of soft coral will be fine. Mushroms, Toadstool, etc...
Zoo's will be good too.

Have you tested your tank to ensure that it has cycled completely?

IMO mushrooms may not like the new tank, maybe try zoos or a cheap (small frag) leather.

Make sure your temp. is 75-79, then you can start with softies like zoo's. JD

Any mushroom will do just fine in that tank.

Beware of shrooms(both kinds).
They can take over a tank in no time.
And make you halucinate!
