Regal Angel EATING!!!

I am so excited I have to share! I purchased a red sea regal angel that was about 5 inches long and just gorgeous, but he wouldn't eat. I tried prime reef, formula 1 & 2, brine, mysis, lettuce. Then I tried clams on a half shell. He devoured them! Then two days later I took a clump of calurpa out of my refugium and left it in the tank overnight. My regal tang and angle devoured that. Then as I was feeding my eel some bay shrimp, he started picking at the shrimp and then tonight he ate Prime Reef!!! Took about a week and a half, but he is eating like a pig.

That is great, I have had some fish give me a scare when just purchased and not eat and finally got them to eat it feels good.

very nice to hear that is one of my favorite fish.

I've read it three times. Then printed the whole thing out, and read it again. This time takeing notes, and highlighting things. Now, I'm planning and setting up a tank just for this guy. Man, I can't wait. Glad to see you got yours to eat, and its healthy. I hope I have the same experience when the time comes. As for now, I'll just keep studying.
