How should I dose Kent Vitamin C?

I bought some Kent Vitamin C to dose my tank with but dont really know how I should do it. None of my fish have things wrong with them I just wanted to build their immune systems and make them stronger. On the bottle it says to dose 1ml per 50gal everyday for ill or damaged fish. Well I dont have that and was wondering if I could just dose 1ml per week, but would that still help my tank? Also my tank isnt a full 50gal, more like 40gal.

Don't use it if not needed but if you like one drop in the food shall do.
