what is better for filtration for a 210 reef tank, a large refugium, a wet dry or some type of combination of the both.

What about this refugium ? http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=ECO-SYS3616AM&Category_Code=Special

as for a wet dry?

Go refugium. Wet/Drys can be nitrate factories (if not maintained). Refugiums will reduce nitrates and provide a safe place for cocopods etc... to prosper.

Run a PS with it though.

Primarily.... a LARGE skimmer. The rest is just details.

i would take edges advice and go for a refugium/sump setup. I will bet a 55 is way cheaper than a wet/dry. Overall a much better setup

Agreed with JEFF. Large skimmer number one. A large FUGE and sump number 2. Dont deal with wet/dry. And that FUGE is way to pricey. I had a 50 gallon sump and FUGE custom made for 250.00.
