Oceanic bulkheads

For plumbing the drains and returns, how do I attach spaflex to the bulkheads? Plastic clamps?

Spaflex is pretty thick so I didn't know if these clamps were strong enough.

PVC Glue - after all spa-flex is only flexible PVC...

So I glue the PVC to the bulkheads?

well that depends on what type of bulkheads they are, if they are slip fitting then you can glue directly to them or you could glue an extension in there first and then glue the spa-flex to that extension using a coupling. If they are thread bulkeheads then you will have to get a threaded to slip adapeter from HD, Lowes, Etc. line that with about 3 wraps of plumbers tape and then screw that in and glue that spa-flew to that. There really is multiple ways of doing it though, depends on your personal preferences and needs for your system. If you really cant figure it out after this post then maybe post some pictures of what you have and well try and help you out even more.

Mike, thanks for your help thus far.

These bulkheads are neither slip or threaded. It's kind of hard to explain. I'm at work and I will post a picture later on tonight.

Basically, they are very slender, compared to the actual bulkhead size. It has ridges on it so it is neither slip or threaded.

Probably doesn't make sense until I can post up a picture. Any idea what I'm talking about?
