Does anyone know how many holes I can drill in the back of a 75-gallon AGA without compromising the integrity of the tank?

It will all depend on the placement of the holes. What are you looking at doing and how many holes are you looking for?

I would like to drill 2 holes on the upper portion of the back wall for an overflow.
But it would also be nice if I can drill holes for a closed loop also.

If it is tempered glass it will shatter if you drill it. So check it out before you drill. An expensive Boo Boo if it happens!

closed loop? what is that, I have seen it mentioned a few times before...
it means just that.. closed loop meaning an intake pulling water into a pump and then it pushing it thu and back into the tank directly... an open loop would be flowing thru a sump or something else prior the water returning to the source
