PVC Glue

Just made a new manifold for around the top of our tank (using loc lines). The glue I used is weld-on pvc 795 clear medium bodied. It says on the side of the bottle .. allow 5 mins for handling strength and 30 mins for cure time. How long should I give it to actully use it.. Should I be worried about off gasing or leaching something into the water etc ?

let the glue dry for 24 hours then you will be good to go.
