I'm going to upgrade the lighting system. Which one is suitable for 80gal. sps tank between 400w*1/14,000K and 250w *2/14,000K?
Please be my teacher.

i woudl go with 2/250watters you will get better light distribution and much better growth and coloration on your corals.

Why not 1/400w in 80gal sps tank instead of 2/250w?

you own't get the same light spread 1 bulb will not cover your whole tank unless you hang it up high and even then you will loose a lot of intensity and PAR.

Hello, Mr.Julio
Length of my tank is 1.0 meter or so.
You mean that 1/400w covers a little narrow area compared to 2/250w.Thanks for your concerns.

You will have a better light tank with 2 bulbs rather than just one.
