Our tank has been up and running for 3 months. One month ago we started having serious green algae problems. Our ammonia/nitrate/nitrites are all at 0 and the pH is 8.2 - 8.4. We have been feeding the tank every other day and cut the light back to 4 hours a day. What will be more beneficial to our tank - Large water changes to remove the green algae? Or keep the green water in the tank and let the system work itself out?
