Good morning~ Does anyone know what could this be? I have pom pom xenia with some I would describe it very very thin hair like lines coming out of it. Id say a dozen or so in various areas from the pylyps. Whatever it is they pull them in intermittingly like they are catching food from the water column. I can't get a picture of it because the hair like lines are so thin. Any ideas?

Sounds like vermetid snails or digitate hydroids. Do they have a hard tube?.

There is no tube . Actually whatever they are they are small and completely camoulflaged. they must be just like the xenia in looks.. I even used a magnifying glass. Just cant see whatever they are.

When xenias are tiny, they don't pulse. They don't pulse until they reach a certain size. The really tiny xenias just grow.
