Anyone use the Jebo PS75 skimmer???
Cause I got one and I'm having problems.....
50gal tank, 10gal sump, jebo ps75 skimmer

I've had this skimmer running about 2 weeks now and for 2 weeks straight now its sending micro-bubbles in my tank
The skimmer is about 1' tall and has a needlewheel pump that does 396gph. Whats happening is that the entire skimmer is filled with the micro-bubbles, so the return tube (that goes all the way to bottom) is sucking up all those micro bubbles. There is no "non-micro-bubble" water at the bottom. The pump has an attachment on it to add air lines. I only have 1 air line hooked up to pump. And I have plenty of mechanical filtration, but the bubbles go right through this.
Please see pics below!! Please help!!

This is the only thing holding me up from adding livestock. Please let me know of your suggestions and/or advice.

It's my friends website... for some reason it only works with IE (sorry no Firefox)

I don't think you should worry about it so much. The "micro bubbles" don't really look all that bad in your tank. Just give it some time and I think it will eventually subside.

One thing I noted though is that you're not using the sponge cover on the output. I think using the sponge will cut down on bubbles a lot.

On a side note, do you how many people would kill to have a reaction chamber of their skimmer completely filled with fine micro bubbles like in your photos? This means it's working well. It almost look like milk in there and you typically only see that in larger more expensive skimmers like ER and Deltec, etc...

How old is your tank?

hahaha... really?! I got the sponge at the end of the exit tube. Doesn't filter ANY bubbles out. So I guess I got a deal paying $40 for that skimmer and pump. The tank is only about 1 1/2 months old. It just finished cycling a week or two ago. It's only got 2 Stand Sifting Stars and 5 Red Scarlet Hermits.

What I did is replaced all the tubing with 3/4" Eheim, between pump and skimmer and for the exit tube.

I know the bubbles in the tank aren't a bad thing, but it's just cosmetic. When your looking at it from across the room, it just looks cloudy. You can only tell their bubbles if your close to it. I just want my water to be as crystal clear as possible.

Er... I'm not sure I quite understand what this meant.

The tube coming from the exit valve on the skimmer to the sump is 3/4" Eheim tubing. And the tube between the pump and skimmer is 3/4" tubing.

I found that the sponge for the out strainer made it a little hard to tune as it clogged pretty quickly. Too fine maybe. I have no sponge on the input or output of mine.

Hmmmmm..... do you remember if yours sent micro-bubbles into the tank when you first started using this?

All I want is a skimmer that won't put these bubbles in my tank!!

did you get the skimmer to stop putting so many bubbles into the tank?

If not.. I found out if you slow the pump down by blocking the input it will stop dumping bubbles back into the tank.
