Hello, What's up?
This is the first time I have entered this forum.

I am sure you have heard this question a million times!!

I had a Kodak point and shoot and I wasn't happy with my pics.

So after years of begging I finally convinced my wife to let me get the Nikon D-50. So I took some shots and they look better but ,they are not even close to the ones I see here.

I know it is not the best camera in the world, and I can guarantee I AM the biggest butcher in the world.

The manual doesn't really put alot of time into marine tanks.

I would really appreciate some quick advice on close-ups and Macro.

Thanks in advance

yah check out his site. To take the awesome pictures you see here youll need a 60mm or 105mm macro, a tripod, and some patience =) I just got one yesterday myself. Savin up for that damn macro lens.

Peace

I find that the "picture project "sucks though.

With the Kodak program you can edit a picture with full screen.

This program only uses about 40% of the screen?

I have a Nikon Coolpix 5700. I got the Nikon D50 a week ago. Without reading the manual I took some pics just to try out the camera. I couldn't figure out how to do all the manual settings so the exposures were auto (I used the manual focus though). The quick pics I got were night and day better than the 5700. I can't wait until I get the time to really learn how to use it and get some practice with it.
