Looking for stores that my do know of for fish and supplies.

Well since you are in the Harrisburgh area your best bet is definitly That Pet Place/That Fish place. It is a good store and has alot of equipment and livestock. I have never personally dealt with them but from what I have heard fro the most part they are a good store and good to their customers.

Millers Reef in Bloomsburg is Great. They always have a lot of corals and fish in the tanks. LOTS of rock!
I Just bought 75 lbs of figi 2 weeks ago.........good prices, got a great bulk deal! Almost as cheap as mailorder, but the rock I got was awesome with lots of life and color..........AND I got to pick it out,unlike mailorder!
Its pretty much only a salt water lfs, with just a few fresh tanks.
The owners (Chad and Rob) are Great and will spend a lot of time with you if needed..........they are great just to B.S. with too!
Its really the only Saltwater LFS around me (Lewisburg), besides That Fish Place, in Lancaster.........but that is a HIKE!

I have to still checking on the one started in Mechanicsburg that took over for The Salt Box and see where it is.

I saw a newspaper ad for one called Erb's in Montandon... has anyone visited yet?

Are you sure? I think that Erbs in Montadon is a grocery store???
I only live about 10 minutes away..........I will have to check it out. Erbs is located just outside of Lewisburg, close to Bucknell College on Rt45,Market street.
Guess I will have to take a quick drive.........I will let you know!

I saw the new Store in Mechcanicburg that took over for the Salt Box that you needed to know.
The name:
Treasures From The Sea
Sign in front.
On Trindle road right beside the Suzuki Motorcycle shop small House with parking in back to sidedoor in back.
Very nice store clean have tanks setup still adding more.
What if you do not see something they will get it.

Jeeper 74 I heard a commercial for a saltwater store in harrisburg on 580 am radio. I didn't catch the name but will try and listen for it again. My good friend also heard the commercial.

It is Malec's Pets in the West Shore Plaza,Lemoyne
Been there before they were just setting up the tanks I have to go and see it now.

I was there and just wasnt impressed. A little pricey and I really didnt care for the metal shelves in the coral tanks. Thanks though, I'm always looking for another place to get my next coral "fix"

Malec's Pets has the metal shelves(like closet organizer stuff) in the coral tanks. I thought Treasures From The Sea was nice... clean tanks and pretty good prices.
