My 120 is on the way so I started building the stand. Its going to be a 48L x 24W x 24H 120 gal with a 40 breeder sump below. I have the framing done, time to do the electrical & make it pretty next. I will have more pictures as it progresses.

Very nice. You even drew lines for lining up the screws. Talk about attention to detail. Is it level? :)

Are you going to seal the wood?

Thanks Andy.
should be level, it is near perfectly square...I know where it is going to sit the concrete floor under the carpet is not perfect so it will require some shims.

Yeah I will seal it but have more work to do first.

The stand I built was level until I put it on the basement floor :(

Here is an update...I decided to put a cabinet on one end to hold test kits ect. below the cabinet will be room for the ext pump. & the door makes much easier access to it as well. I got the outside skinned & trimmed(still have some touch up to do). Next will be sealing the interior so I can run the PVC conduit & can be wired. I was going to have outlets on the outside of the cabinet for lights & power heads but have decided to build a canopy in the future & ill have it wired for those items. The doors will be made with the same waynescoat paneling.
