So I'm at Lowes today looking around for something to retrofit my lighting. I walk down the electrical aisle and noticed the power strips and started looking around. I then noticed an intermatic power strip w/ a 7 day digital timer. It said the price with $9 so I grabbed two. What was cool was that it can be programmed w/ 7 settings and can be set with individuals days if you wanted. 4 of the outlets worked on the timer while the other 4 were constants. It even came with a battery to keep the program memory just in case the power went out.
I went to the check out counter and the cashier rung them up for $2.50/each. I asked it she was correct and she confirmed. I went back down the aisle and grabbed another 4. $15 for all 6 timer/outlets??? What a steal. Either it was a mistake or on sale. I suggest you folks go check out your local lowes. Even for $9 it's a great deal. I paid for my original intermatic timers w/ only 1 outlet before for like $30 and thought that was a good deal to save me the headaches of remembering to turn things on and off.
Thought I'd share.
