I have 4 65w PC in a 125gal tank and would like to add some corals.
What are the best candidates for me to start with?

I had a similar configuration and was able to grow toadstools, kenya tree, xenia, frogspawn, ricordia, zooanthids, musrooms (soft corals and a few LPS). This was until the tank crashed due to a dying anemone :(

i would start out with some softies. mushrooms are a good choice. i have the same lights on my 75g. how deep is your tank?

Thanks for the replies.
It's pretty deep, 24". I was thinking of placeing them as close to the surface as possible.

i would start with some mushrooms, they should be ok on the bottom even. but if you notice they are not opening fully then move them up a little at a time. starting them out at the top will more than likely cause them to move on their own. things like LPS and higher light requiring softies will probably need to start towards the top.

Any soft coral is likely to do well. As you get more experienced, you could consider some of the corals without zooxanthellae, like Tubastrea. They don't require any light, although target-feeding is a good idea.

Thanks, I'm really looking forward to this now!
