How to get a pic not a clickable link in a thread

Hello, how do I get a pic in a post. The only way I can get it is if it appears as a clickable link, how do I do it so that just a pic shows in the thread?

add infront of the link with now spaces and at the end with no spaces

I have and it still comes out with the clickable link.
I don't know, I am next to ignorant when it comes to this tyupe of thing.

Well, what the heck. I have done it like that before, well all the time. It always appears as a clickable link. So it is the space behind the img?
