I did some research and asked Zephrant about the easiest and safest way to make a flange for a Ca reactor - to use a router and a circle cutting jig.

What I can't figure out is how to clamp the material down so I don't have to stop the routing, move the clamps, and then finish the work.

Is there any trick for clamping down the material so the cutting is done in one go?

If your using a circle jig that moves the router (not a router table) you can use double sided capet tape to hold the work piece to a scrap piece of plywood.
