Sump Supply Line Q

Thanks for your time.

I have a basement sump. Currently, I have the line from my tank to the sump above the water line of the sump. Any concerns if I extend the end of the 1" pvc pipe to be under the water line? I want to place it below the water level to lesen the bubble creation, but I am worried the added resistance may prove troublesome - pump will out pace supply.
