Earlier in the year I read a post on a tank where I guy took PVC pipe an made some really cool designs and attached the rock to the PVC with zip ties. He also added some holes to keep the areas behind his rocks clean.
In the photo you can see the PVC stands I'm made. I want to connect them to my return pump via a pvc manifold.
My questions are,
1. Should I use 3/16, 1/4, 3/8 holes? Do I scrap holes and just use ball socket fittings?
2. Since this is my first attempt at this form of water movement ( I hate powerheads!!), is this a good way to approch it? Is there another way? Does anyone have any advice on this?
