I will be getting a 96 x 30 x30 glass tank soon and I need to know how everyone is moving their tanks from the builders to the stand.
Also, I need to know how to lift the tank onto a 41" stand.
Any Pics?

I moved my 72X24X30 tank with a fridge dolly. Have 4 guys lift it form the truck to the dolly, moved it into the house and then the 4 of us lifted the tank to the 30" tand.

If you have to move it along an area that doesn't accept the dolly, use a large piece of carpet that you can use to slide the tak along it's way. much easier on all involved it you can do hat.

Cheers!!

Get as many helpers as you can! Beer and pizza usually do the trick!

I just moved my 540 gallon today I used 4 2inch pvc pipes to roll it to the front door then 4 of us picked it up the stairs then rolled it into the office on the pipes. real easy move for the most part.check out my 540 fowlr thread for pics.

We deliver several large tanks each week using these suction clamps, and provided the glass is clean and dry we find them the easiest method of all. We also use flat-bed 4-or 6-wheeled trollies to minimise the amount of actual lifting and carrying involved.
