At what TDS reading do you guys generally change your DI resin?

IMO I feel if my reading goes above 5 tds, I notice a faster diatom build up on the glass. Due to this I like to keep no higher than 5 tds. I have the color changing DI, so usually if that's the case the DI needs replacement.

As soon as it rises above 1 ppm, it should be changed, IMO. I detail that in this article:
