Is this dangerous? Should I get rid of it? I dont want to kill anything if I dont have to.

going to need a pic or atleast a much better description. its probably going to be some type of Aeolid Nudibranch. but with out a pic its impossible to say for sure.

I cannot take a picture but I will describe it best I can.

It is about 1/2 inch long 1/4rth inch wide. Has a pretty naked middle top and there are little orange bushes protruding from his sides (very little "bushes") which give it a overall pink coloration. It seems to be moving around on the Colt coral.

Still hard to tell. Are you sure its a slug and not a bristle worm?

Absolutely positive. Ironicaly I found out the slug while removing a bristleworm from the coral.

Remove it asap!! Most likely it is a leather eating nudi...I seem them a good bit on colts and some other leathers that come in. I had them once in my tank and they multiplied like crazy...trying to find a picture of it...

did you find the worm in question near the bristle worm? it could have been an epitoke. which is what a male bristleworm turns into when its ready to mate.

or is it a slug(nudibranch)?

It was a nudibranch. 2 eyes (antaneas) flat boddy and "stuck" to the surface. And the bristle worm was on the same coral.
Ive seen dozens of nudibranches in photographs and this most deffinetly is(was) one.

It wasnt a epitoke but I see where your going with this.
Deffinetly a slug. It moved like one and looked like one.

heres some slugs/hares/nudi's to look through http://www.saltcorner.com/sections/zoo/inverts/molluscs/nudibranchs/nudibranchs.htm to be safe i would probably remove it. as most small slugs are not good. its up to you, just be sure to wear gloves or use tweezers so you dont have to touch it. it may sting you or give off some toxins that could be harmful!!
