Well I finally got my new tank up and running and everything seems to be working right lol :D I had a 10gal nano that i wanted to upgrade. I had 4 corals in it that were transfured into the new tank, a candy cane frag, xenia, pipe organ coral and a sun coral. I also had a few fish, blue damsel, percula, dragon goby and a royal gramma and a feather duster. Taking the tank down wasn't to bad, seeing as it was so small :p Here was the 10 gal before it was taken down. Was looking good IMO, but getting packed and needed more light.

I ordered a 25gal AGA tank 24"Lx20"Hx12"W and stand and a 24" Coralife Aqualight 280 watt (150watt MH) fixture. When they came in I was all excited, but had some blond moments trying to figure out how to get it to fit over the tank :D (thanks guys for all your help ;) )

Well me and my husband were trying to figure out how to keep all the hoses and wires from my 2 toddlers, so we built this thing behind the tank. In addation to keeping everything from the kids it gives me more storage room behind the tank and it also gives me the option to move my light fixture back so i can reach into the tank. I think it's kinda cool :D

see how it goes up to the height of the tank, thats so i can sit the back legs on it to have room to reach into the tank with the light on.

Here is my refugium, which currently houses my dragon goby, because he is creating sandstorms and cloudy water. He didn't make the water cloudy in the 10gal for some reason though.

here is the return pump area, normally my skimmer is in there too, but it'screating to many micro bubbles so i'm getting another one.

Well here is the full tank shots. I need to get some more LR and LS though, which i will probally do on Friday. I want to create 2 "island" so i'll probally get 2 more really big peices of LR. Oh they 2 green chromis are going soon, i just wanted some more swiming fish untill i get more LR :D

Doesn't this tank look so much bigger than a 25gal? I like it :D

Looking Good, what else do you plan on doing to the tank? Are you going to add more rocks/corals/fish?

yeah i'm going to add probally 2 big rocks that are about 10lbs each. I'm getting rid of the chromis, dragon goby and the percula and getting a maroon clown, and some other type of fish, but i'm not to sure, maybe a lawnmower blenny and a flame angel or a reefsafe angel. I am going to try and do mostly SPS toward the top (when i get more LR) and maybe some more LPS lower.

thats funny that you thought your 10g was packed.....no one knows the meaning of a packed 10g untill they see my tank!

but to the point.....how much did you pay for that light? i want one! i paid 500$ for 2-175w PFO retros and they have been in boxes in my closet since the middle of last year......

the new tank looks good, it'll look even better when you get the new rocks, and thoes corals grow out a bit...!

and if you care for my $o.o2, let it get packed!

thanks guys, it's going to get alot more packed :D with mostly SPS I just have to slowly get more stuff because i already spent too much on the tank and lights lol. I think i'm going to get base rock insted of live rock, there is actually about 20# of LR in there, sure doesn't look like it lol the tank just looks so much bigger than it is, probally because of the height. The light was $360 shipped off ebay, but on marinedepot the have the light for $360 not shipped so i got a pretty good deal.

Here are a couple more pics.

This one is with the MH off and the acintics on, i like how it makes the corals glow, but it doesn't show that in thie pic, too far away.

Ok here is a couple more pic with the 12lbs of LR i added. It doesn't even look like i added to much rock lol The next step is i'm going to build up the right side to be higher than the left one that i already did, i'm trying to creat a "valley" effect in the middle. I'm also making sure that no rock touches any of the glass, i want to be able to clean all the glass without effort.
