help a friend out

A friend of mine is trying to set up his mega system, he posted trying to get some advice about plumbing in the forums but has not had any luck with replies. Could you guys give it a quick once over and offer him some advice, please? He's a really nice guy but unfortunately doesn't belong to a club so he doesn't have the benefit of reef friends to turn to for advice.
