View Full Version : Can anyone help me to find a LFS in NYC that has Gold Stripe Maroon Clown?

All i want is a SMALL gold stripe maroon clown. I've been searching around the city for a month. not even 1 LFS carry this fish. went as far as aquarium adventure in long island. they have 2 in the display tank, but not for sale...errrr..... if anyone can find one in any NYC LFS. please let me know. I want this cool looking fish so bad.......you can also email me to let me know cooltankmate@yahoo.com

Did you ask if they could get one?

Try calling the Pet Barn in Franklin Square, LI.

i ask a guy in fishtown. he said they get whatever the wholesale give them...

never been to pet barn. but thanks for the info. i'll call them up to find out.

Manuel is the saltwater guy there. He can special order them. He usually has some there in the BTA holding tanks.

Although they just moved the tanks to a new room. Not sure if they had any last time I was there.

went to pet barn today. only have a mated pair. ask for $90. however i only interested to buying 1. they manuel said few more coming in tomorrow. but the price will be $45-$50. oh my god, is it worth it? i asked a place in brooklyn and they are selling for $25-$30. but just don't know when they are in stock. so my best bet is get it from pet barn with a $50 price tag....any suggestion? should i wait?

Pet Barn is a bit expensive. More so since they moved and upgraded the tanks. It all depends on if $15 is worth it to you.

Call before you go tomorrow. Their supplier does not always deliver on time. Sometimes it is the day after they say it should be there. Unless Manuel tightened the guy up since I wanted something last.

country critter on 112 in patchogue always has them ask for Jonathan if you call. i know it s a ride from nyc but ive never seen a better store on the island

Fishy Inc in bayshore i think still has 1 gold stripe maroon.

but hes closed for renovation.

if you want to hold off fishy gets them in all the time


also fishy has a 500gal tank going up with fish that will be foresale in it also..


well worth the wait if you can hold off for a week or so

Finally got my beloved GSM today from pet barn. it's about 2" big, cost me $45. well after all, it's worth it, because i don't have to drive around and look for it. yea! special thanks to Anemonebuff! without his info, i don't know when can i get it hehe
