Tiny Bubbles.....

The new tank is set-up and all livestock transferred over. All is well and looking great except for one tiny, or should I saw millions of tiny issues!

Tiny bubbles.......

In the past I have used a fine mesh filter bag over the intake to the return pump to keep these at a minimum. However with the new dart and the larger intake I can't think of a way to secure it without worrying it will end up tangled inside my pump.

Any advice on dealing with this issue would be appreciated!

eggcrate, or lighting grid from home depot. I also used plastic screen to make a sandwhich with my filter pad. That just made it more rigid.

what is causing the bubbles? Mine is from the return from my skimmer.

try putting some fiber floss around your bubble trap. you could attatch it to some egg crate to filter out the microbubbles.
