Here is my new acrylic sump/refuge built by bigfalcon36.

Can't tell it in the pic above, just cleaned it and haven't turned it back on yet, but it is doing very well. I really like it.

Here is a pic of the skimmate I'm getting. I think I might be running it a little wet.

What kind of bulb is that in your light?

It's a 6500K compact flourescent from Wal Mart. It's a Lights of America one. My WM had 2 different models with different wattages, I got the higher wattage model, although I can't remember now what the wattage is.

I've got to figure out a better way to mount it above my refuge. On my old one I was able to just clamp it to the side of the tank, that won't work on the new refuge.

Nice. I want a sump badly, but I'm not sure if I am going to do one yet. I just don't have the room under my stand for one and I would have to run some hoses around into a closet....

This is the one I purchased at Wal-Mart and use on my sump, I'm sure it's the same.
