Newbie sump questions

Hi!

Ive been reading around and looking for this info, but i havn't come up with anything....

and I've been trying to figure out what kind of protein skimmer i can attach to the sump... (eco 3)

The sump dosent seem large enough to fit a protein skimmer inside it, so can you tell me some brands/models of skimmers that i can somehow attach to it?

also, would the skimmer be attached before the water gets into the sump?, or as the water is leaving the sump?, or just separate?

Up until last week I had been running a Remora Aqua C Protein Skimmer on my 30 gal sump tank with a 75 gal show tank. This skimmer performed well for over a year. My Remora was the Hang on Tank style so it didn't even have to fit into the sump....just hangs on the back.
I just upgraded to a 40 gal sump and ASM G3 skimmer. The ASM skimmers require a lot of space in the sump as do a lot of the in sump skimmers.
I'm probably gonna sell my Remora Aqua C if your interested.
