What is the smallest shark you can put in a home aquarium? What size tank is adequate for it?

oh god haha...

Well pritty much smallest is the Cat shark types, Marbled catshark coming to mind to me. Basically the reef and lagoon living bottom sharks who spend most of the day hardly moving on the sand. these are the ONLY sharks that should be kept in the home fish tank, even then an extremely dynamic system is needed. Never purchase any of these sharks with smaller than a 180gal. tank already. Once she gets big their is no giving her away usually. Ask 100,000 questions on this fourm and get Scott Michaels book on sharks and rays. I wish you the best of luck on your shark.

Please keep larger active swimming sharks (black tips ect.) in gods tank
