I have a 6000 on a controller and a 6060, my tank is a 180 gallon all glass aquarium with 2 overflows in the back, where should I place the streams?
I want them where I will not have dead spots anywhere including the back of the tank!!
Can you help me decide where to place them for best flow?
Thanks
Dean

In all fairness I think no dead spots is an unrealistic expectation of 2 pumps. Their will be some dead areas behind rock structures and that is pretty much unavoidable unless you add a couple more pumps or a wavebox. Largely this is a trial and error process and I can only give some generic ideas. I would try the back corners aimed to the front center first.

ok, thank you for the quick response Roger. if i point the unit towards the front glass wont most of the flow be lost hitting the glass?

It depends, if the angle is right the flow is deflected and not lost, if it hits it too sharply than you lose the flow, the idea is to make a broad circular current.
