I have been toying with the concept of turning my AC 300 power filter into a hang on regium because I want to grow macro algae due to myphosphate problem. I want to due something cheap and simple. I am currently running the 3-stage filtration through the filter and also have a hang-on prism skimmer. All other parameters fine including 0 nitrates. Does anyone have sugesstions/comments because this is a very rough concept drawing.

Thanks for both threads. Looks like something a little better. I never thought to look in the nano forum because I always considered my 30 gal to be too good for a nano. :)
