Since I am back in Tulsa and out of my parent's house I have decided to get a bigger tank. The place I live at doesn't have any size restrictions on tanks. I have a built in entertainment unit in the wall that would be perfect for something no bigger than a 58-60 gallon. I checked around the local stores today and everything that is available is in a combo package. I just want a tank, don't need anything else. Does anyone out there have anything they don't need or want? Oddballs, if you read this, what could you do for me?

I don't know of any store that wouldn't sell you just the tank. Granted most are displayed as a combo, but that's because more people buy the tank/stand/etc rather than just the tank.

What are the dimensions of the area you would like a tank to be placed in?

I don't know the exact dimensions so I'll measure it and post on here. Why do you ask?

I'm just trying to see what will fit the area the best and keep an eye out. Would you be against a custom built tank? Have a price range?

Nope, not against a custom built. As long as it doesn't leak I am game for whatever. After measuring, a 58-60 is going to fit best and allow me to have enough room for equipment. If you see anything let me know. As far as price, I was quoted around $150 for a 65 gallon.

Did that include freight? BTW I'm jealous I want a new tank also just not to that point yet.

I am going to sell my 72 Gallon Bow Front Tank.
It is 48 inches long.

I would love to have a 72, but the opening is 46" wide. That's why I'm looking for a 58-65. What are you looking to get out of it?
