fission skimmer just came in, doesnt fit in the aquapod like they said it would and if u want the cup not to overflow with overskimmate, then u gotta modify the hood. worst 35 bux i've EVER spent in my lifetime. unless someone can tell me where to put it, i've tried all the slots, doesnt work.

i'ma call them tomorrow and get a refund. this is stupid. worst invention ever, EVER made.

Not familiar with it, but for $35 I wouldn't expect much of a skimmer, even if you were able to fit it in

I think Tony gets $35 for everytime he advertises the deltec :lol2:

You can barely get a decent pump to run a skimmer with 30.00.

What you expect?

Anyway Im still looking for a skimmer for my 110g....:(

For anyone on a budget, the new coralife super skimmer is GREAT!!!!! This thing works as good as those top of the line skimmers man.

I think everyone is missing the point of the fission skimmer, it is made for an aqua pod.

lol, comon people. Its made to fit in the black slot of a nano cube. should they make one that costs 300 bucks, stands about 12 inches tall at the very most and is like 3 inches in diameter ?

Supernareg,

You are always quick to be negative, I've seen your other posts.
You need to spend a little time and read the directions so that you can properly fit the skimmer in your tank and you DON'T have to modify the hood. Again just use it properly.

I personally own 2 fission skimmers. One for my 12g nano and 24g aquapod and both fit perfectly.

On the 12g nano, you have to use the elbow included in the box to make it fit.

On the 24g aqua, it fits perfectly as a whole unit.

For everyone else, this is a great little tool for those that do own a nanocube or aquapod. It's like bergamer and sirlight said, why make something so expensive for something so small.

I agree with Luisprado, I am running one on my 24 gallon JBJ display and it fits perfectly, I am surprised by this little skimmer and what it will do....
