I never seen many on these threads, most people have croceas, maximas, deresas, and squamies with a few gigas, but rarely any hippopus. I have seen them for sale on some online sites, but that's about it.

there just not brightly colored. they have about the same care needs of the other clams.

great to have in a tank they filter out nitrate and phos.
