I got this SPS as a freebee at the LFS today. Just wondering what it is. Thanks

Some type of leather, it is very hardy they say.

It has a hard defined skeleton with brown spots and brownish green polyps

Is it a stony or soft coral? If its a stony, looks like Pocillopora damicornis (Cauliflower coral). They require good light and good flow. I have a pink colored one.

It's a SPS

It is a Pocillopora, but it doesn't look like it is the right color. I've never seen a yellow one - only green or pink.

maybe it's a morph---more of a gold color with green polyps. Maybe it will "color-up" under my T5s.

What are the best conditions for it?

It is a typical Pocillopora, a bit lighter than usual but not uncommon at all. It is much like any other SPS, decently variable flow medium to high light... etc...

They also spawn in many tanks and youll end up with little tiny colonies on the glass etc...
