What is the best calcium reactor media?
I have been using ARM but is seems to be dissolving and making my water cloudy. I keep my effluent between 6.5 and 6.6 any suggestions?

I just use a course aragonite sand. I have seen ARM do exactly what you describe. What is the flow rate of your reactor.

i wouldnt let the ARM get below 6.8 ...on the container it says to keep it at 7.5 but i run mine at 6.8-6.9 any lower and it will turn to mush

When I bought my reactor, the guys I talked to liked this stuff:

I haven't been using it long enough to really give any feedback.

Flow rate is 10-15ml a minute. I was not sure if i was running it too low. I did not seem to be getting enough calcium/alk output out of it so I lowered the p.h. Any more suggestions. Plain aragonite sand, Where do I get that.
