djian will be hosting our March meeting in Windsor. As a talented DIY guy, he will be sharing some tips on how he built his protein skimmer, sump (from a 20L), and Nielson (Kalk) reactor.

We will also be doing a hands-on project and making some frag plugs from cement and sand. :) We will use the raffle proceeds to pay for the materials and will raffle off the plugs we make!

The meeting will be from 6:00-8:30 PM on Sunday, March 19

Im going to try to have plugs pre-made, so everyone should be able to take some home.

For all of those that want to make rocks here is a list of things to bring.

Large styrofoam cooler
sand to fill it 3/4 of the way
Some shells if you like.

I don't think I will be able to make it up tonight. I plan on snowboarding tomorrow and the drive tonight is a little far. Have a great time everyone!

Thanks, Ian. Making the rocks was fun and it was great to see all the work you have done to make your tank run great: from the sump to the Nielson reactor/auto-top off!

And thank Michelle for the yummy food :)
