Never thought I would be asking this since I had a caulerpa problem in my softies tank a while back (overgrowth), but does anyone prune caulerpa? I would like some.

Just out of curiosity, why do you want caulerpa instead of chaeto or gracilaria or something?

If you go to fins and things in danbury, they have a huge ton that that needs pruning. Hes got prolifera, peltada, he also has red feather growing in there, not sure if its calearpa.

Ken I have plenty of chaeto in my fuge (throw away some every week), but want the caulerpa for my rabbitfish as food.

wentreefgirl, do you know how much they charge for caulerpa? I was really looking for someone who is pruning and throwing it out.

I think its 10 a portion. Wish i had nutrients to grow it, id give you some.
