I picked up some bulk Magnesium Chloride. This is now recommended over Magnesium Sulfate (epsum salts) to raise magnesium.

See article: http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-02/rhf/index.php

I'm already using it with great success.

I could only get it in large quanities. So I have extra. I can sell two ten-pound packages of it. I'll sell it at cost. I paid $1 per pound, so $10 a package.

I will also consider trading for frags. I'd love a rose milli frag.

I live in Citrus Park.

FWIW...anyone using a "store bought" 2 part additive really needs to look in to using Randy's receipe.

I have used it for about a year, go through about a quart of both parts every 2 - 3 weeks. Cost for me is about $1 per month instead of $25 - $30 and results are exactly the same.

Shawn - I was busy all weekend but I may have a chance to pick up mine this evening, I'll give you a call later.

hey college I have been using this stuff for a few years and have also been successful. the actual thing to do is a 10-1 mixture of magnesium chloride and sulfate. this is supposed to be the best balance at least. this is per randy last time I checked and a few others I have read. I have about 15 lb myself or I would take it. is it pellet or flake?

Yes. I understand the mix from the article. I am using the mix as recommended by Randy.

It is flake.

I'm interested, but wouldn't be able to pick it up until this weekend. If that's OK pm me and we can figure something out.
