This is what i already have in the tank

sailfin tang
2 black clowns
royal gramma
flame angel
tri color anthias

All the fish are pretty small, I know the tang can get bigger and he will be removed once he is growing.

What other recommendations do you have for a 58g tank? I was thinking a Rainfords Goby? Anyone else? I know i may be maxing it out here but I would like some opinions.

Thanks!

I will jump in on this one because I did the exact same thing. Unless the Sailfin is a juvenile and temporarily housed in the 58, I believe the tank may be a bit too small. They may reach 16 inches in length. I think the rest may be ok. Although, I have no experience with the Anthias listed.

well i'm obviously not and definitely not going to let the sailfin reach more than a few inches before he comes out, and yes he is very small, no more than 2" long. Thanks for looking out though.

Anyone else?

I think that you have plenty of fish for a 58 already. I have 1 small (1.5 inch) yellow tang and 2 small tank raised clowns in my 58 and they seem a bit cramped.

There are lots.
-pygmy angle
-blennies
-cardinals
-dartfish/firefish
-wrasses(some)
-goby's
There, that is a decent list that you can chose from.

Maybe it is the ever expanding "field" of xenia that makes my tank look smaller! Hey have you had any issues with your flame nipping corals? I have always wanted one but was afraid.

I really like my rainfords goby. Have you thought about putting in a 6 line wrasse? hmm... I think they look pretty cool, especially in the tank like yours.

I've never had a problem with him nipping corals. I did see him nip my brain I just put in the other day, but I don't think he does it anymore, otherwise the brain would show signs of it.

thanks nate, i thought about six-line, but have read they can be aggressive, at least there is a chance of it.

Thanks for the tip on the rainfords goby, i like them alot too.
