My tank story is of a move gone bad. As you can tell by my name, I am from Toledo. I moved to C-bus 9 months ago and my house just now sold. I have been in an apt for the last 9 months and get this......my tank is stored at my buddies house in his basement. I have to drive 20 minutes from Grove City to Hilliard twice a week to care for it. My ro unit in storage, I have been relying on walmart, meijer and byverly's for water. Needless to say my tank is covered in green slime/hair algae. I maintain 10 gallon water changes a week, but my 75 gallon softie reef is deteriorating fast. I will be moving it in 2 months but am scared it will not last.

I have lost a foxface and several small coral colonies and am about to loose my polyps, leathers to this algae issue. I scrub half of the rocks weekly but no results. I have never had any issues with my tank and practice good husbandry. I will be moving in 1-2 months as soon as I find a home and close on it. I have a new tank waiting.

I need your help. Can anyone donate fresh RO/DI water to me so that I may do a series of large water changes. Some of you helped me with this when I first moved.

Help, the favor will be returned.

I would be happy to help. I could fill a 30 gallon trash can. Do you have enough containers to take it with you?

I live in Pickerington

Anyone else?

I have 32 gallons premade if you need some. I work wierd hours, but you're welcome to it if we can figure out when.

I'm in Hilliard, and have a holding tank of about 30 made (can get about 40-45). As the other guys have said, if you can bring the containers, someone can get you hooked up.

Thanks everyone. Its nice to know C-bus has such generous reefers. Did I mention I'd like free corals too? Just joking.

I have contacted some of you by PM and will contact the rest of you soon.

Thanks.

Careful... You'll get an even better response if you ask for that ;)
