View Full Version : What Kind Of Filter?

Hey you guys..I just had a quick question. What if any kind of filtration would you put on a frag tank. I already have a PM Skimmer, PM Kalk Reactor, PM Calcium Reactor also this is all tied to the 40 gallon sump. The tank is 48 x 22 x 8. I was just wondering if you could just run this stuff or do you need, Cheto or live rock. WHAT DO YOU GUYS USE....Anyhow please respond...

Is it bare bottom or DSB? If BB you probably need some live rock somewhere. Otherwise you are good to go. No Filter needed. Chaeto would also be a good idea in the sump.

It's Bare Bottom, I was thinking of running a fuge along side of my sump.

Definately a good idea. Might want to have a DSB in the fuge IMO.
