Hi,
Some members have posted that their Aquapods they ordered from Foster and Smith arrived cracked. Some of them did not receive an undamaged tank until the third shipment.
So, I wasn't too dissapointed when my tank arrived last week and it was cracked. Of course, Foster and Smith has excellent customer service. You are sending me out another tank and providing a prepaid return shipping label.
But my question is, if you know that you are having a problem with cracked tanks, why don't you ship them in properly padded boxes?
They are sent in the manufacturer's box which provides minimal styrofoam padding. But, the only packaging you provide is a box that slips perfectly over the manufacturers box. One would think you would want to provide a larger box and pad it with some styrofoam. It's a small price to pay to avoid the frustration and dissapointment.
