All,

I want to thank everyone for the help over the past 2 years since I entered this “hobby” (addiction). My family and I leave for Kansas City on Thursday to start our new jobs and while we are very excited, we hate leaving our families and upstate reef community. I will check in still to see how everyone is doing and maybe get some advice when I begin work on the new (and larger) tank I am going to be putting up in KC.

Again, thanks to everyone for the advice and knowledge I have gained from this great community! I hope through frags and advice, I have given something back!

Joe

So, are the reef stores any good in Kansas city? Have you already checked?

Good travels!

There is a supposed good shop in KC, but I have not visited it yet. I have been very unlucky finding anything like Upstate Reef...so...I'm thinking about setting up my own...

There is a big St. Louis reef club, but that is 4-5 hours away. Not a fun drive for a meet, but we'll see.

KC's a big city, so I'm assuming there are some other reefers there, just not as organized as here. I'm still debating if I want to setup my own forum...I'm sure it's a ton of work....

Oh, I'll still be in and out!! :) I've been loitering a lot in the large reef tank area checking things out for the moment..

I will of course keep everyone appraised of the new build when it begins!

Best of luck.
You wouldn't be the first URS member to get a FedEx box from all your old friends.
