I was looking into timers and wave makers and temp controls.
I then found the Reefkeeper by Digital Quatics.
http://www.digitalaquatics.com/reefkeeper.htm
It can run all my lights heaters and power heads on one unit.
I can set timers for all outlets and on top of that have it turn off all my lights if the temp gets to high.
And at $219 it is not that much more then buying everything separately
What does everyone think about this?
Anyone have any experience with these.
Also should I wait and get the reefkeeper 2 it has the capability to get firmware updates (great idea)
And a ph prob. Plus some small other changes.
Any input would be great.
Thanks
Mike

i was looking at this deal
http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PA&Product_Code=PA-LHC&Product_Count=&Category_Code=
i like that you can run it to a router and log into it remotely or the net/lan....haven't got crazy enough to spend that much on my system other than lights so far...
but the reefkeeper 2 looks nice, even comes w/ all the probes

That has some great features with the web site. But for 300 bucks i think i would rather get the reefkeeper 2, it has a lot more options and is cheaper. I have a e-mail to the asking if the serial port is bi-directional. If it is there may be a way to pull the data off of the unit and integrate it into a www.
Will update when i get reply.

I have the aquacontroller 2 and I am running it with x10's and ice cap ballasts with out any problems. it is awesome when I feed I push the shortcut and it stops my filtration pumps and starts all in tank pumps. also got the premium aquatics deal from rc thread.
I have to say I love it. I can control I think 20 or so different things maybe more I forget.

I got a reply from them saying that more then likely it will be a firmware update, and that it will more then likely not be open source.
So i ordered a reefkeeper 2':) will let you guys know when I come in and how I like it.
Once I get it if anyone wants to stop buy and see it they are more then welcome to :)
Thanks
